Hello AAPIC! My name is Michelle Harrison and I am AAPIC's Vice President. I am also APSA's (Asian Pacific Student Alliance) Internal Vice President, so you can find me in AAPIC and APSA! I am a 3rd year Speech Language and Hearing Sciences Major from Dublin, CA. My pronouns are she/her/hers. The reason I joined AAPIC is because I believe in the great power of unity. I dreamed of having a coalition of all of the API organizations coming together and when I heard that there is an opportunity to be a part of the creation, I took on the positions. A fun fact about me is that I can speak Japanese and almost every summer, I travel to Japan with my mom back to Kumamoto to see my family. Another fun fact is that I was previously the Academic Coordinator of APSA and I was the head coordinator of APSA's To Places Unknown High School Conference which was an incredibly fun experience for me. I love to talk and get to know others, plan events, and bunnies.
